For the website in front of you

Build it.
Solve it.
Keep it moving.

From a new build to an existing problem, I make the technical work clearer, deliver the implementation, and stay with what comes next.

01 / The premise

The right next step depends on what’s already there.

A new website needs a foundation your team can actually use.

An existing site needs context before it needs another change. I look at the system, the goal, and the trade-offs—then recommend what to build, improve, or leave alone.

02 / Website development

A useful website starts behind the screen.

From designs and requirements to a working site your team can use.

I develop responsive websites around the content, functionality, and editing needs of the business. My experience is deepest in WordPress, with work across Shopify, Astro, and Next.js. The aim is not only a clean launch, but a site that can keep evolving.

Build for the people using it. Plan for the people maintaining it.

03 / Service directory

Different problems. One point of responsibility.

Start with the work that needs attention.

Each service can be a focused project or part of a longer working relationship.

02Support / improvementKeep an existing website moving.Understand the system. Then make the right change.

I investigate bugs, untangle plugin and integration conflicts, work through backlogs, and improve live websites without treating every request as an isolated fix. For ongoing work, we agree priorities, capacity, and a practical way to review progress.

03Quality / remediationMake the experience work better.Improve what people can use, not just what a score reports.

I review accessibility and performance issues in the context of the site. The work may cover keyboard navigation, focus, forms, semantic structure, scripts, images, fonts, and Core Web Vitals. I check the affected experience as well as the technical result.

04Functionality / systemsConnect the website to the work around it.Useful functionality starts with the real workflow.

I build features and integrations around how information needs to move: forms, CRM connections, product tools, search, member areas, marketing services, and APIs. I account for incomplete data, failed requests, and the paths users actually take.

05Commerce / ShopifyGive the storefront room to grow.A store should serve the way the business actually sells.

I develop and extend Shopify storefronts from supplied designs and business requirements. That includes flexible theme sections, structured product content, integrations, and improvements after launch—without losing sight of everyday editing and maintenance.

06Teams / deliveryDevelopment capacity within your process. An extra pair of hands with ownership of the technical work.

I work alongside agency teams on builds, client-site support, and technically demanding requests. I can work from designs, tickets, or a defined brief, and contribute to investigation when the solution is not yet clear. Git, staging, QA, and clear handoffs are part of the work.

04 / Ways to work together

One developer. Three ways in.

A defined project

A build, migration, feature, or focused improvement with an agreed scope and a clear handoff.

Ongoing support

A prioritized stream of fixes and improvements with continuity across the same live website.

Agency capacity

Development work delivered within your team’s tools, timelines, and client process.

05 / How I work

Context first. Progress without guesswork.

01

Understand

We establish the goal, the current setup, the people involved, and the constraints.

02

Scope

I investigate where needed, explain the approach, and make dependencies visible.

03

Build

I implement the work and keep you informed when findings affect the plan.

04

Verify

We test the affected behavior, content, accessibility, and relevant devices.

05

Continue

We handle launch or handoff and decide what needs attention next.

06 / Practical questions

Before we get started.

Can you work on a site you did not build?
Yes.

Understanding and improving existing websites is a substantial part of my work. I begin with the relevant code, tools, integrations, and environment.

Do you work directly with agency teams?
Yes.

I can contribute within an existing process, from a defined build to technical investigation and ongoing support across client sites.

Is the work one-off or ongoing?
Both.

The right arrangement depends on the scope, priorities, and capacity required. We can decide after looking at the work.

07 / A good place to start

Send the context. We’ll find the next move.
